# Privacy Policy

How The Healthy House Podcast collects and uses personal data, and what rights you have over it.

## Who we are

The Healthy House Podcast is hosted by Weather Wise Solutions (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire). This policy covers the website at https://www.thehealthyhousepodcast.co.uk. For any question about it, email [info@thehealthyhousepodcast.co.uk](mailto:info@thehealthyhousepodcast.co.uk).

## What data we collect

This site collects personal data in one place: the contact form. If you use it, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. Submissions are processed by [Web3Forms](https://web3forms.com), a third-party form-delivery service, and forwarded to us by email. We don’t ask for anything beyond what’s needed to reply to you.

Like any website, this one generates server logs as part of normal operation — IP address, browser type and the pages requested — captured by our hosting and network provider, [Cloudflare](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/), for security and reliability rather than for tracking individuals.

## Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run any analytics that track you across visits. We haven’t added a cookie banner because, on its own, this site doesn’t need one — it only starts loading anything that touches your device if you interact with an embedded video or audio player, covered below.

## Third-party embeds

Episode pages can include a YouTube video player and a Spotify audio player. Both are loaded only inside the page, not automatically fetched in the background, and the YouTube player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. If you press play on either, YouTube or Spotify may set their own cookies and process data according to their own policies, not ours:

- YouTube / Google Privacy Policy
- Spotify Privacy Policy

## Lawful basis

We process contact form submissions on the basis of legitimate interests — responding to enquiries sent to us — and, where a message concerns a contract or potential contract (for example a guest booking or sponsorship arrangement), on the basis of taking steps prior to a contract. Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and working.

## Retention

We keep contact form correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, then delete it. Server logs are retained by Cloudflare only for the short period needed for security and operational purposes.

## Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete data we no longer have a reason to keep;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing; and
- ask for data you provided to be given back to you in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email [info@thehealthyhousepodcast.co.uk](mailto:info@thehealthyhousepodcast.co.uk).

## How to complain

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, tell us first and we’ll try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office, at [ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk).

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. The date below shows when it was last revised.
